Surprised to see me back at Hogwarts? I’d say you’d better be, considering the effort it took to get to school this year. I argued all summer long with my mother to be able to come back to Hogwarts and now I’m not entirely sure if I should have exuded the effort. And this is not me whinging Robins, it’s just the facts.

I’m going to attempt to be neutral and hold my judgement of Headmaster Snape as well as these two new teachers. One can’t give a fair assessment based on looks alone. Though I have to say the two new Professors here look like Snape really scrapped the bottom of the barrel. Could the one teaching Muggle Studies be uglier? You just know their mother was the only one that loved it. That’s right it…because I’m still not sure I’m convinced of the gender.

I can only hope they’re smarter then they look to get a decent education out of this year. Though from the way it’s started, not likely. Luckily the other professors, such as McGonagall are still here. Heaven knows we’ll get a decent education out of her. She’s never been one to back down from a fight.

Otherwise this year’s cancellation of quidditch pleases me to no end. is just so very sad. I’m sure though that there was a good reason for them to do it, I mean studies are important.
